Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 10, 2026 Last Updated: September 10, 2026

Hillworks LLC ("we," "us") runs Common Snail and commonsnail.com. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

1. What We Collect

  • When you subscribe: name, email, mailing address, business info, and payment details (handled by Stripe)

  • When you contact us: whatever you share with support@commonsnail.com

  • Automatically: basic technical info like IP address and browser type, through our site and email tools

2. How We Use It

  • Set up your subscription and mail your issues

  • Process payments through Stripe

  • Send billing and delivery updates

  • Send editorial or marketing emails through Kit, if you've opted in

  • Keep internal records in Airtable for support and operations

  • Meet legal obligations

3. Who We Share It With

We only share data with providers that help us run the Service, currently including:

Provider What For What's Shared Stripe Payments Billing details Kit Email Name, email Airtable Internal records Name, address, business info, subscription status

As Common Snail grows, we may add other service providers—for things like shipping, customer support, or analytics—to help run the Service.

We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for any provider's own marketing.

4. How Long We Keep It

We keep your information while your subscription is active, and for a reasonable time after for legal, accounting, or dispute purposes.

5. Your Choices

  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails anytime via the link in those emails. You'll still get transactional emails (billing, delivery) while subscribed.

  • Update your address by emailing support@commonsnail.com.

  • Access, correct, or delete your info by emailing support@commonsnail.com, subject to records we're legally required to keep.

Depending on your state, you may have added rights (like California or Colorado privacy law) to know, delete, or opt out of certain data uses—email us to exercise them. We won't discriminate against you for asking.

6. Kids

The Service is for business owners and organizers, not children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including Stripe's secure payment processing, but no system is 100% secure.

8. Where We Operate

The Service serves customers in the United States and Puerto Rico, and data is processed in the U.S.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The version posted here is the one that applies.
